I was thinking all night and even saw it in my dream repeating again & again. When the clock read 1030am this morning, I decided to rush for it. That's if I could make it by 1130am. It was probably my last chance to see my this particular trailer playing on the big outdoor Led screen. Its duration was merely 1min 30 sec on top of my other 2. As I was rushing to wash my face, fixed up some decent color on my face with my makeup, I recalled another previous past job I worked on - my first for the company with a Producer. We dressed up and together with another colleague of ours, got ourselves seated at the audience seats & were very excited while waiting for our trailer to come on the screen. We were like excited kids waiting for a Giant we got to know to appear & prove to others that he was not a fragment from our imagination. There were hardly any other people around us. And silence we were in, when the very first frame came on with the music we selected, and how we cheered when it ended. The only lacking in our hands was probably some champagne, but we were high & happy in our little party. As I rushed to put on my shirt & jeans, skipping breakfast & rushing for the door in a mere 20 minutes since I opened my eyes, I could still hear my mum commenting. She couldn't comprehend why it was important for me to make this trip all the way there. Only I knew & I didn't want to regret it. I ran, like a scene from a drama but probably looking like a mad lady to others. My bus came at the right time, and I took the train next like a marathon race. That was all the time I needed. I started to have time wondering why I couldn't wake up earlier to be in such a rush, and what if they decided to play the program earlier - (a pre-dubbed program with the trailers already in between.) in the journey. Reaching the destination at 1120am, I flew in trying to hear what they were playing. The program was on and just started. My colleague spotted me & asked, "Here for a show?" His question took me by surprise. How would he know? "Yes!" I said. A guy on bicycle who must had been behind me, passed us & asked me, "Late for work?" I just smiled. I sat myself down. With my biscotti & a hot milo in hand, I waited like a kid for this friend I came to know in such a short time. This time waiting to say "Hello! & Good-bye!"
